PoCo market

Head to the Terry Fox Hometown Plaza behind the Port Coquitlam Community Center (2150 Wilson Ave.) to check out the food, drink and handmade goods at the weekly Port Coquitlam Farmers Market. From 3 to 7 p.m., the Fraser North Farmers Market Society gathering is kid- and dog-friendly and features live music.

Crochet, anyone?

The Port Coquitlam Community Foundation is back with its annual croquet tournament, a charity fundraiser benefiting PoCo groups and hosted by Mayor Brad West. The winning team of the tournament will win the coveted Golden Mallet award. The one-day event at Citadel Middle School (1265 Citadel Dr.) is sponsored by Galactic Entertainment, Mosaic and Wesbild.
